An absurdist comedy about love.
Face Front Inclusive Theatre invited Jeni to direct and Jean to perform in this little known Albee play. It tells the story of a couple who have been married for many years and are thinking about their relationship now, growing old and love. Do they still love each other? Will they still be looked after as they grow old together? Wasn’t it lovely when they were younger and going to parties? With four actors (two Deaf BSL users, two hearing) and pioneering the idea of putting the audio describer for visually impaired audience members on stage, this was a great collaboration for fingersmiths with Face Front which shows some trademark fingersmiths approaches.
A Face Front Inclusive Theatre Production.
“ ..combining artistic vision with functional access is a sophisticated process….Jeni Draper is one of few directors with the passion and experience to push this process forward”
